The Sensors and Network Services Research Lab focuses on the convergence of internet, communication and sensor networks with tight coupling between existing mechanisms for tackling the problems of sensor oriented future internet services (SOFIs). The revolutions of wireless communication and pervasive computing technologies have made sensible and controllable things around us.
Currently, we are working towards the internet connectivity over small embedded devices to support global connectivity for machine-to-machine and end-to-end user applications.Mainly, we are focusing on following major research fields:
  • Wireless Sensor Networks ( with Hardware/Software)
  • Information Security System (Management/ Communication)
  • Future Internet Architecture (Service Oriented/ Applications based)
  • Internet of Things (M-to-M communications/ Object oriented)
  • Wireless Mesh Networks (Routing/Mobility)
  • 6Lowpan (IETF Drafting)
